Bob the robber 1.5 is a codename I have created to differentiate this game from the original bob the robber. It is known as Bob The Robber To Go on CoolMathGames, and simply Bob The Robber on the developer's website.

- He resides within the shop and sells upgrades, a feature not seen in future games.
similarities and differences with Bob The Robber 2[]
- Both games use the minigame system for locks and wire cutting, but this version requires an upgrade to unlock golden locks. Upgrades are absent in Bob the robber 2, so to can pick them by default.
- Both games have the same soundtrack, although this game still has the win theme from the original, but the sequel has tv static.
- This game has a weird mix between the original's menus and the sequel's menus.
- The action button and attack button are the same in this version, but in the sequel, like the original, they are not.
- This version is incompatible with keyboard input, but the sequel is incompatible with touch controls
- The ninja upgrade is supposed to act like the masking spray upgrade from the sequel, but it prevents you from hiding in the shadows. Note to developer: Please fix.
- In the sequel, movement is frozen exactly when you touch the end gate. but in this version, you can still move when you win meaning you can overlap the end gate
